Interview with rat!

After overcoming the odds and beating Fatal1ty at the Abit Fatal1ty Shootout last weekend, Antti rat Tolvanen has become one of the hottest names in Painkiller. I caught up with him today to talk about his past in gaming, the Fatal1ty Shootout and the future of Painkiller.

You can read the whole interview on Z-Partio´s homepage here.

PKEURO New Map Available

Starting from an old Q1 map, we present a conversion which suits Painkillers style of play pretty well, and should make for some fun games.

Carnage! Carnage!

Were releasing the map for beta testing, so feedback would be appreciated. It is a pretty sweet map though, if I say so myself.. major props to the original creator, see readme for details.

You can download the map here.

Painkiller League

European Painkiller League ::

If there is one thing that painkiller is lacking at this point in time in europe is Quality leagues.

With the release of BooH bringing CTF and a proper DUEL system to painkiller many painkiller players
believe now would be a good time for a proper league to be setup.

The League would focus on the 1v1 :: TDM :: appeal of painkiller and hopefully CTF as more clans form. below is a proposed idea of the style of games, at the end of the day its down the community.

:: 1v1 Ladder :: CTF league :: 4v4 TDM League :: 1v1 Ladder :: 2v2 Ladder ::

At first 1v1 and TDM would be main focus to get league off ground.

If this league was to take off it could improve the painkiller community to no end and give the community
the much needed boost that it needs to bring the game in to mainstream. we have already got the support of many painkiller players who are willing to put in time and effort to see that the league is a success.

with the help of the community we can see that this is a success.
